Patrick Burkart researches telecommunications policy, information policy, and media studies in the Department of Communication at Texas A&M University.

Filipe Castro (Frederick R. Mayer Faculty Professor II of Nautical Archaeology) is coordinator of the Nautical Archaeology Program and director of the J. Richard Steffy Ship Reconstruction Laboratory. Interests: early modern European seafaring and shipbuilding technology.

Heidi Campbell, Assistant Professor in Communication-Media studies does research in new media, religion and culture and runs the Studying Religion and New Media Wiki.
