The Wilder Three-Dimensional Imaging Lab is located in the Department of Anthropology, College of Liberal Arts, TAMU. The lab was founded, thanks to the generous support of William and Donna Wilder. Work in the Wilder Lab focuses on many aspects of diagnostic imaging for the purpose of archaeological work and as part of the archaeological artifact conservation process. Archaeological photography, non-contact 3-dimensional laser scanning, CAD-based design and rapid prototyping and 3-D printing and NURBS-based artifact reconstructions are routine activities in the lab. We frequently collaborate with St Joseph Regional Medical Center’s Radiology Department to conduct some classes and we have assisted us with CT and MRI Imaging of complex artifacts.
